Meet the Artist
Rachel is the artist behind Created in Ireland with Love. From her home studio in Galway on the Wild Atlantic Way she lovingly creates all the original artworks that adorn her product line.
‘My work is a celebration of Ireland’s rural life and is deeply rooted to my Irish Heritage, our animals and countryside’.
Rachel’s childhood was spent in Connemara, where her love of animals and nature were nurtured. She learned of her family’s history, heritage and great crafting skills. Her family and grandparents have a long tradition of skills, ranging from dressmaking to carpentry. Her grandfather a skilled stone mason is still renowned for his work throughout Connemara.
Conscious of the fact that our plant is swamped in excessive packaging, every product created for the range has been give the utmost thought and care.
‘Eliminating plastic and sourcing materials that can be reused, recycled or up-cycled, is one of my main priorities, even the ink used in the silkscreen printing process are eco friendly. All the products are 100% natural and biodegradable’.
We are pleased to introduce a new and exciting collection of giftware and home products with Rachel's detailed illustrative artworks.
Rachel's lifestyle concept is built around Ireland's native animals, nostalgia, and links to the past. Rachel's initial product range depicting donkeys is a gesture to the often forgotten animal that played an intricate part in Irish History and Ireland's heritage.

Capturing the grace, power, beauty and detailed physical anatomy of
animals to bring joy and comfort to the humans that love them.
I'm an animal lover with a degree in fine art. I visit with animals directly when possible, and work from photographs and video, to accurately capture and create a true physical and emotional likeness with great attention to anatomical detail.
As a professional artist, I specialize in oils and graphite drawings and deliver all projects on the finest materials. My working background with horses and animals provides me with an anatomical understanding of my subjects while my degree in fine art ensures you receive quality work.
'Bought the bag for my mom, loves it. The design is really lovely, she loves the padded handles, gentler on her hands for carrying. Not too big to carry around, but large enough to get lots inside. Have to get one for myself.'
Sinead O'Brien, USA
'Love the apron, the quality and artwork is outstanding, have ordered one for a friend and a bag too. A little piece of home.'
Aine Duignan, Australia
'Fabulous work, I gave my Aunty an apron for Christmas
and she's crazy about it. It is now a part of her home bread making routine, I look forward to adding a few more bits and pieces!'
Mary K. Folan, Ireland
'Rachel's work is therapy for the eyes, great for the soul. Talented, gentle lady who captures the character of the subjects... they talk to you!'
Fidelma Sheridan, Ireland
'Rachel is a gifted artist that can capture so brilliantly the beauty and soul of her subjects. I have been lucky enough to have more than one of our horses immortalize by Rachel and she stuns me every time. Such attention to detail and care goes into every one of her works. I adore seeing all the different animals she creates. Thank you Rachel for everything.'
Ciara Cooper, Cooper's HIll Livery, Ireland
'Just love Rachel's work, she has created several outstanding drawings of my animals, and some for my friends as gifts. Rachel is first choice for me if I need a drawing of one of my horses, or a special gift (like a special crochet copy of my Cob "Keylam" or a drawing of my friend and her horse as a wedding gift.)'
